Use and care

Everyday use : Strong and non-porous, our ceramics are designed for everyday use. They are dishwasher- and microwave-safe, but are not designed for oven cooking

Food contact : Our glazes contain no lead or cadmium. In addition, our base formulations have been tested by an independent laboratory, validating all of our colours for food use in accordance with European and French standards. 
 
Precaution for use : When using the products for coffee, tea, or any other high-coloured food (red beetroot, red wine...), it is recommended to rinse them fairly quickly after use to prevent tannin deposits, paying particular attention to very matte colours (Snow, Sky blue, and Cornflower). 
 
About plates : Matte and light-coloured glazes can be sensitive to knife marks. These marks can be removed by rubbing with a scrubbing sponge. You can use a little baking soda for added effectiveness. To avoid the marks, colours with a satin finish are the most recommended for an intensive use. Medium and dark-coloured matte glazes are also suitable.
